For deployers

Directing a token's creator fees to the GitPaid treasury constitutes acceptance of these terms. The direction is permanent and cannot be reversed by you or by us. You are responsible for the token you launch and for naming a developer accurately. Naming a developer does not imply their endorsement, and you must not claim that it does.

For developers

Being named by a token, or receiving a payment, does not make you a customer of GitPaid, a promoter of that token, or a party to its launch. Balances do not expire. You can opt out at any time. We do not issue tax documents; how a payout is treated is your responsibility.

Payment through GitHub Sponsors

If your GitHub Sponsors profile is public and accepts one-time sponsorships, and you have not saved a payout wallet with us, we pay your share by sponsoring you through GitHub Sponsors. Each payment is a private one-time sponsorship of the whole-dollar value of your balance, sized at the SOL price when the payment is prepared; the fractional remainder stays in your balance. GitHub pays you under its own Sponsors terms and schedule, and GitHub's tax treatment of sponsorship income applies. We pay any exchange or conversion cost. You can switch to wallet claims, or opt out, at any time from your dashboard; a payment already in progress completes first.

The split

80% of each fee collection is credited to the named developer and 20% to the protocol. Network costs are paid from the protocol's share. Fees from tokens that name no resolvable GitHub user are held until one can be resolved. Fees for an account on the do-not-pay list pass to the protocol.

Reserved rights

We may pause claims for an account while we investigate suspected fraud or impersonation, and may decline to list any token.

Nothing here is financial advice. Tokens are volatile and most lose value. The service is provided as is.
